Why would it be OTT?
If I lock them up then I know 100% no children can get hold of them and blind themselves or others.
Better to secure them then just leave them in a drawer or something.

I've read many tales of airsoft guns shooting teeth out or the projectiles embedding in lips and things. They are not to be underestimated.

they'll pop an eye ball quite nicely too.
also more importantly they're expensive and can be damaged, i wouldn't want some kid getting hurt or breaking my toys

Yep - I shot my mate with a G10 when I was a kid, and it stuck in his cheek.

theres lots of lockable storage cases for air soft guns, which is also handy for taking them to sites so you don't get shot by the police

My 15 year old stock AEG will break lightly protected skin from about 5 meters.
They are unlikely to cause any life threatening damage, but could blind/cause a fair bit of pain!

I ordered a range bag that can be locked for when I go target practice or airsoft games.
I have never been pulled yet by the police with my rilfe gunboot on my motorbike lol.

It's a public footpath/track for right of access to our house, the paddock next door and back of kennels the other side.
We just get dog walkers walk by
I have thought about putting a high fence up, but certainly not a priority.

Why? Ive never understood these things. Why would anyone want an insurance mascot? I enjoyed the Meerkat ads when they first turned up but now we've got them and that super tedious Brian robot they're trying to make happen so desperately.
