Going to a party where the dress code is 'alternative fancy dress' so I'm doing Dita Von Grease, that well known, time-honoured mixture of burlesque, huge poodle hair and spandex. Hence the corset. Also a new bracelet and webcam after my in-built one decided it wanted to give everything a distinctly purple hue.

First person who says they want the voucher, gets it.

No that makes you normal.

It's not until you hold one in your arms that you feel the history. The Bren was particularly important to this country as it formed the backbone of our infantry tactics during WW2. it was that crucial that a section's riflemen would carry more ammunition for the Bren than they would for their own rifles.
