I feel your pain

Nearly 2 years left as well

When I was looking I think they'd not long put the fees up from £1k to £3k per year, glad I didn't go in the end anyway, would have zero bearing on my ability to do my current job :)

Sony Xperia Z5

Really impressed coming from an S4 (right) especially with simple things like Quick Charge :D

You want to get a decent case for the Z5, my mate has one and in the first couple of weeks of owning it he cracked the glass front and back and the digitizer stopped working, £190 for repair I think it was.

Nice phone though!

And keep the bloody thing away from water!

I had the z3. Lovely phone and my first every waterproof phone in 20 years. Yet it was the first phone I ever owned which got water damage and SOny refused to repair it as it was water damaged and said it must have been my fault for not closing one of the flaps properly. Despite the fact there was documented issues with some build quality where the phones werent sealed watertight. They even said if youw ere worried you could take your phone into a shop and they would put it in a tank of water and it it leaked, give you a new one.

That's no good if yours got water damaged before you could take it to get it tested,

Cause fo the treatment I refuse to buy another Sony despite the fact I think the z3 was miles better than any other phone on the market at the time.

Ouch!

Yup, waiting on a decent case & screen protector = a lesson I learnt with the S4. First few weeks of that I managed to mess up the (inner) screen itself from a very small drop. The Gorilla Glass part was all perfect & intact... Seems it was only good at protecting itself
