But each tile is attached on it's entire surface.

A Plasma is attached via 4 plugs.

It is a bit like standing on thin ice on your toes or lying flat and spreading your weight. That's why I would be concerned.

Not quite, almost all of the weight is in a downward force. Being so close to the wall makes any pull (on the fittings) minimal.
