How much did you spend for the R3 Survivor Edition? I got my close to release and it costed a bomb. As far as I know, there were a few created so I have a small feeling it will go up in price eventually, but last time I saw them go for 20 quid!

Whats the difference between them? I see its ever so slightly smaller and has some additional buttons plus a C pad.

Worth upgrading from a 3DS XL for it? or is it like an iphone 6 to an iphone 6+?

Raymond's covered the pluses.

If you like using 3D then it's a definitely a good upgrade. The way it tracks your head, even in a dark room by using an infrared camera is amazing. There's none of this positioning your head at just the right distance and angle anymore.

The little rubber joystick is the C stick. For some games such as Smash Bros and Monster Hunter it's a must.

I went for the XL version myself and I'm finding it to be great!

They should announce a general release date tomorrow as there is a Nintendo Direct.

The people who have them now were invited by e-mail to order them early.
