Finally got the guns we had deposit on. Shotgun Certificate took 3 months, and we had to wait that long to get delivery!

Browning B25 B2 12g from 1975 (hand made, hand engraved), and 425 Prestige 20g for the Mrs. That was a bit of an expensive day ;-)

Very nice pair of shotguns - Always wanted a Browning B25 but all I could

afford was Nikko 5000. - that was 1984

Yarp. Turns out blasting stuff outta the sky to a little cloud of clay dust is very, very satisfying after a week's work :-)

Totally agree with this, im submitting my FAC and SGC application at the end of the month and just pray that i get granted both. Already a full member of a firearms club and go shooting clays with one of the lads from the club on a monthly basis so next time i go ill join the clay ground.

Hoping when i submit my application it dosnt take too lomg and all goes well. Nice shotguns btw

If i get 30 hours gameplay out of it in those 2 months (which im sure i will if not double that at least) it was worth it for £1 an hour entertainment. So dont feel sorry for me ;)

I really don't get how people can play games that cost so much but can be finished in 30 hours.
I always remember several of my mates buying Tombraider 3(!) for the Playstation and the slowest time one had finished it in was 22 hours
My game playing days was when games just got faster and you couldn't finish them.

Depends on the part of the country you are in... in Wales it was 3 months but that's considered 'pretty good' -- in some other counties (like, Berkshire) it can take 6+ months to get a SGC! Apparently they have 900 applications a month...

A zip-up hoodie and some cream.

I'm hoping that it works better than my prescription cream. Although strangely, for a cream specifically designed to 'alleviate the itching and skin irritation of eczema and dry skin' it says not to apply to broken or inflamed skin.:confused::p

What does this even mean? 30 hours of entertainment for £30-£40 is dirt cheap tbh. If a game lasts a lifetime, I find I tend to get a bit bored and move on to something else. A bluray movie costs about a tenner + for what, 2 hours of non interactive entertainment. For me, 30 hours of interactive entertainment is absolutely fine and value for money.
