The GF must abuse hers then. Cracked screen etc, it makes me sad inside.

But as the screen is curved it costs £££££ to replace. Case and or insurance

Waterproof to 1.5m of pressure yes

My Z5 has had no scratches and the Z3 was minimal, sold that to a member here who was more than happy with it. I expect the S7 to be equally tough!

Gorilla glass 5. So it should be fine. I've only ever scratched my screen once. Due to it falling out my pocket in the car and hitting the seat runner at the bottom. Pocket wise though, not a single scratch.

Also the edge is quite a bit bigger than the standard, coming from a gigantic note it feels normal.

Indeed, but as I've not used one, I may well be missing out.

Does the touch sensitivity extend to the curved edges too? If so, is it not a magnet for accidental touches when simply holding the device?

I don't get why people talk about fragile screens on phones. I drop my Samsung all the time, in fact I've dropped it off the upstairs landing more than once. The screen is still fine.

Despite being 5.5" screen size and slightly thicker than my old phone on paper, it feels and looks smaller due to the curved edges front and back. I had the Nexus 6P for a bit. That thing makes the Note feel small.

I just had a test with this and it actually doesn't by the looks of it but because the screen folds around, it gives the illusion it does as you automatically assume it does so begin your touch at the very edge when you don't need to. I think it senses touches at the edge but doesn't respond to them the same as touches on the main area.

Just something new to adjust to I'm finding.

lol, non taken, I wont be looking at the soles - cheap, comfy and will do for pottering about in (just wont be looking at the prints I leave behind ............)
