Those kitchen cabinets are pretty horrific, learn to clean.

Shock horror it's a real life kitchen. FYI, fat in the air gets everywhere when cooking so unless your kitchen gets zero use there will be a film of grease lying on hard to reach places e.g. unit tops, ceilings etc.

How many move their fridge to clean under that? Guarantee rest spot for dust and grime.

Fill the other 9 bays, 36TB, only then can you call it a true fileserver.

What you putting on it anyway?

All in good time. Twelve 3TB drives are not a cheap purchase. I've chosen ZFS as the file system of choice, bullet proof when it comes to data integrity but it's not very flexible when it comes to adding additional drives to the pool at a later date. So I must be patient until the end of this month when hopefully I'll have the server fully populated. Have a 22U cabinet incoming and cases to move my current servers to, it's becoming quite a costly project.

Fill it with p0rn! ;)

Ordered a Mi band from china for about £12 delivered. Arrived after ~10 days. Works perfectly so far, tracking sleep, activity, silent alarms and waterproof. Discovered it will also unlock my Z3, total bonus.

Have you got the tweaked version with notification support yet? Works great for getting email/text notifications on the wrist.

Nice. Ive been looking into these and this one seems really good value. Do you need a Xiomi phone to use this?

Sunday delivery is awesome, perfect job for a Sunday afternoon too!

No. I think it needs Lolipop to provide unlocking functions. But notifications etc, work on KitKat with a modified .APK.

Hi, I'm running kit kat on a Z3 and notifications (calls anyway) and unlocking work fine. I've set it to vibrate after 3 seconds of a call; works a treat. I'm guessing they have tweaked it - firmware was updated on first pairing.

You can get a tweaked version with full notification support. You can choose which apps can vibrate your wrist beyond just calls.

Heated blanket, hell yeah.

£50 from Sainsbury's. Pros: it's lush. Cons: could do with a timer, and the connection plug is for some retarded reason on the top of the sheet as opposed to the side. We use a mattress topper so this isn't a huge problem, but before we put the topper on, my elbows were resting on the plug and it was annoying.
