We had some important documents delivered to us BUT we don't know where they are!

They were apparently confirmed delivered on the 31st March and they were signed for... but not by us.

Look at this:

What the hell does that even say? It looks like someone lazily wrote "signed" as in "sind"... no idea what that is. It's not another language, as far as I can see.

Royal Mail say "it was delivered" so they're not being helpful. What do we do, go around every flat in the block?

What does that mean? COVID 19?
type your address the actual house number + streetname in google maps.

see where google thinks your house is, it used to think mine was 3 streets away, I think that's why some couriers fail to find where I live, the cheap nasty ones people avoid.

if google thinks your house is somewhere else, maybe that's where your documents got delivered. you can edit your house number location on google maps to fix it.

If it is CV19, it's more than likely the driver has signed on your behalf and left it "somewhere safe."

Deal with couriers as my business sends out 100s of parcels a day and the sheer amount of drivers who now just dump parcels on peoples door steps, in lobbies of flats and even had a driver leave a parcel in a bin at the end of someones drive, on top of rubbish, on bin day a few weeks ago.

Absolute nightmare and a real pain in the backside getting couriers to admit it's their fault when we've paid for a a "signed for" service with them trying to say that a photo of a parcel on someone's doorstep is "proof of delivery"

Go on knock on doors? Put a note up on the front door. Jees, this ain’t hard.

Putting a note on all the blocks' front doors is a good idea. Thanks, I hadn't actually thought of that. It's hard to get inside them since there are multiple buildings in this development with different locks. But we can put notices on them. Also we have a block FB group and I've posted in that.

If it was delivered on the 31st why hasn't a neighbour brought it round yet? Surely they would have seen a different flat number on it.
Your neighbours are probably ***** :p

It's one of those developments where people keep themselves to themselves mainly. People hardly say hi to you in the corridor or they do so awkwardly. It's not helpful. I mean, it was delivered six days ago and they haven't passed it on, which means it's either sitting in someone's mailbox or the recipients have just been too lazy to bring it over.

Give your neighbours a special delivery of your own...

Sad that it took so long for this meme to come along :D

The management company have just emailed everyone in the development. I imagine no-one will ring our bell, but I would hope that it will turn up in our mailbox in the next 24 hours.

I watched an amazon delivery driver post a package I was expecting through the next door neighbours open window last week.
