No, I have access to the admin panel and can set post counts manually. I've only ever made 34 meaningful posts since I joined

I think this makes a lot of sense just from a sort of consistency pointy of view. Probably also explains why a post of mine pointing somebody to the rules, as well as his post asking why he couldn't offer to buy something in a random thread was removed a few days ago (i didn't ask because it really didn't matter )... Keep up the good work gents!

My only problem with the 1000 post limit, is that half of my posts dont add to the count, probably certain areas dont count, my problem is i cant stand the constant repetitive arguing about the same things over and over again in certain threads, it drives me crazy.

500 posts is nothing if you are helpful, doesn't take long if you go into the right question topics.

Stay out of GD and keep it a computer forum and reply to some of them as helpful posts.

Access to MM is a benefit of being a valued member to the forums. 100 posts in GD and 3000 in MM was taking the mickey (and there's a significant number of people like that who are posting in this thread too).
