You put AMD and nVidia together and it will end in tears. The simplest way was to do an AMD section and an Nvidia section and a general section.... Problem solved and the mods would have a far easier time.

Why this has never been done just amazes me.

bcos its dumb! :)

Nah. separate forums will have its occupants endlessly agreeing with each-other.

who wants that?

While this is probably a good idea, all of the bile would just spill into the general section.

I'll wear out that report button, be prepared, I'll be reporting everything and I mean everything that comes under those categories.

Funny you say that as you are the only person I have ever reported...

These measures are long overdue.

It's just a pity they are needed at all.

Wouldn't work, how do the dons know which card people own and more so should you really have to own a brand to be able to comment on it?

The mods apparently.

It makes it far easier to spot a troll and baiting. It works pretty well on OCN.

Indeed, let's hope rules are applied consistently and fairly. If no favoritism is applied this will be a good move.

Other Dons have been involved in discussions about certain posts who like myself don't visit GC and aren't aware of any of the politics, so favouritism regarding people you haven't heard of before is difficult. :)

because there is no need.

If you guys can't get past the nonsense you shouldn't be in this sub anyway. I'm happy for Sir humbug protector of the crimson realm to question my opinions. What I don't want is to read threads were people are just saying controversial and trivial things to get a rise from the other "team".

390X owners thread doesn't need pointless comments from titan x owners and vice versa. Debate = healthy, trolling and baiting = useless and counter productive to the purpose of the forum.

Constructive discussion is good, you don't need to agree as long as you're respectful, but this place is often like a classroom of squabbling 5 year olds - at least from some of the RTMs I've seen.

Can we have the list of RTMs from this section with the names blurred so we can laugh? Anyone on the safe list, they get an email copy.

Thanks

People who put others on their ignore lists purely for holding a different opinion. Yes, a lot of people would like separate holding cells. I'm not one of them, I like my sharp stick.

If people actually made use of that ignore list they would have lower blood pressure.

Good idea and good show. I've never seen the sense in rewarding those who make it their life's work to go around upsetting people.

Edit. Funny how the trolls are complaining that their game is up. LOL.
