If you mean a flying raven I probably shot one in the distance, I dunno, all I know is it was the portal on the right beside the sanctuary portal from the main hub area.
well, been playing for a little longer and have dispatched boss 1&2, but the final boss on 3 is constantly wiping me out, takes ages to get to him so its starting to get a bit frustrating.I've now beaten the third boss, and also managed to get the achievements for completing Desolation in under 15 mins, and without taking damage.
Score now over 320,000
that was quick, im still stuck on 2 boss
Boss 3 you need loads of area effect arrows to take out his mobs, plus some cupid homing arrows. I've beaten him a couple of times and come close several more.
its his first stage that keeps getting me, those floating skulls chip away my health and then I die just as he starts the next phase, with a few more goes I will get it Im sure, but in the meantime getting all the way there only to die is getting tedious.
I use a similar tactic to the first boss, it works for me, get into his area, move forwards so he spawns at the far side, then aim for the head and give him hell (tempest works well) but can do it with standard arrows OK, the distance gives you a chance to dodge his first attacks while putting in the last bit of damage to finish him
Yes, that's really hard. I think the trick is not to destroy too many of his 'pods' that spawn skulls at once. Also you can use lightning ball arrows to kill them. Just fire a load near you so they zap them as they come close.
had another go at him, had him down to last couple of hits and got hit by a stray arrow, I have the measure of him now though, was setting off too many flaming skulls at the start, now doing them methodically is working much better.
OK thats Asmodeus put down, so now all there is left is to get a few extra achievements, play through the levels again, or wait for an online event to happen? great game, looking forward to more in future but time to move on as Im not a big fan of grinding.
