IndyCar 2012

Well that was a disappointing finish for Taku...

Hunter-Reay judged to be at fault and penalised by race control, Hinchcliffe gets 3rd.

Power takes his second win in a row and leads the standings after 3 rounds.

Looks like Simon Pagenaud has rookie of the year tied up, may well be a championship contender if he keeps up his strong performances.

Qualifying Summary

Penske dominate again, Power and Dixon are on the front row, Dario Franchitti gets 3rd (on merit for a change).

Unfortunately Takuma Sato was unable to set a time, and Justin Wilson was sent to the back for breaching stipulation 14.4.3.13 of the IZOD regulations.

Ana Beatriz took up the entry left vacant by Alex Tagliani, qualifying 20th. Forum favourite Rubens Barrichello lines up 12th, and Sebastian Bourdais a lowly 18th.

Sato's had a good run, Franchitti finally finding his feet... and Ana Beatriz is still ahead of Bourdais too

Wilson's rejoined a few laps down.

We're green :)

Seems they've all rejoined. Barrichello promoted to 10th by the incident.

Wilson retires with a mechanical issue. A weekend to forget for him.

Bourdais gone backwards after the restart, poor race for him too.
