Infernal

The graphics engine is definitely very optimised for the PC. Maxed out at 1280x1024 I get 60+fps constantly on an X1900XT with graphics comparable to R6 Vegas (though a bit less detailed). Everything else is also very smooth and slick, which is a nice change from all the buggy, sluggish junk that's been pouring into the PC gaming world recently.

As for the gameplay, it was a bit meh ... too uncomplicated for me, lol. :o

I get tearing in this game with vsync forced and my ati x1800xt card

Same here with a 1900XT makes it unplayable :(

I get the tearing as well, ripping like ******* bog roll it is. :(
Aye it's really bad the tearing, but I am glad I can say it's the only technical problem with this game.

Maybe we should email them so they will patch a vsync function in.

superb game, graphically stunning and on my rig at 1600x1200 everything maxed it runs ultra smooth :D . Only problem i found so far with the demo is the save facility is a bit messed up, i died at the 1st boss and was sent right back to the beginning. think i will be buying this one tho

For anyone who can't seem to enable vsync in this game: -

I just tried renaming the game.exe file to infernalfixedvsync.exe, but apparently that's not the problem. :(

Hmmm, I didn't get any tearing issues on an x1900xt using Cat 6.12 drivers. Maybe its a control panel issue? I have everything set to application preference.

Only odd thing I noticed was that I have my refresh rate fixed to 75hz in ati tray tools, but the game forces 60hz when playing the game; most games don't do this.

I can't get vsync to work at all in this game, when forced or on auto. :(

Sure 100fps+ is nice, but not when you can only see half of it at once.

Fraps seems to lock-in at 60fps on the loading screens, but once it gets to the "INFERNAL" screen and game menu it flies up then stays up during gameplay as if vsync has magically de-activated. :o

Another problem i noticed (it may just be though) is that, at the moment i have aa enabled but at only second option in and eveything else on max. I get anywhere between 100 - 190 fps, as soon a move the aa to the next option the fps go down to 12fps - wtf!!

I got a similar problem - turning AA up a notch and everything became sluggish, but reloading the level solved the problem.

I also found that whenever a level is loaded you will get sluggish graphics until you jump out to the menu and return to the game agian - then everything is silky smooth.

I must be a retard but can someone explain to me how Teleportation is supposed to work? Im at the first point where you have to use it and all I seem to do is set my "to" point, which I go to in an "out of body experiance aka Prey" sort of way and then flash back to my body at the starting point. What am I missing?

Teleport doesn't last long, at least in the early parts of the game.

You have to teleport yourself right next to your objective and then use it quickly before you fade back.

loving this game but have the same prob

stuck on the laser camera and need to use teleportation

what exactley do u do

press q then you get a circle come up i prosume this is the set to point but afer this what

do u press q again or run or the mouse buttons spent ages trying it just keep going back to where i was lol

bigjonnyauk im in the same place you are. My thinking is teleportation MOVES you to the point you specify, but from what I understand from Ulfhedjinn its more of a "move over there in an ethereal state and push that button before returning to your real body". If I understand correctly?
