bigjonnyauk im in the same place you are. My thinking is teleportation MOVES you to the point you specify, but from what I understand from Ulfhedjinn its more of a "move over there in an ethereal state and push that button before returning to your real body". If I understand correctly?
Aye that's right.

Loving the game, although I am stuck at the cathedral at the moment, being trap in the middle with the orange laser sheilds thing coming towards you. Anyone know how to get past this? Couldn't find a walkthrough on google surprisingly. Will try to take a screenshot when I get home.

Spoiler Warning: -

Shoot the triangles on the corners of the force fields.

Crikey how did you find that out in the first place!?

Thanks will give it a go tonight :)
At first I tried doing the "invisible roll" through them and died, then I ran out of ideas and started unloading all my guns at them and hit the right spot by accident. Then I figured that must be what you have to do. :p

I still can't understand why people like this game - get past the engine (which isn't breath-taking - just 'good'), and it's a very VERY basic game, with terrible AI, terrible level design and nil atmosphere...

I agree. Thought it was very average. Sure it ran smoothly, but prolly due to the low res textures and and lifeless environments. Couple of nice effects here and there, but nothing to shout about. The bit that put me off most was the plot/characters - talk about naff voice acting and dialogue. This is certainly no Max Payne. Anyway I didnt like it sorry :) Looked promising from some screenshots but once I actually tried it I lost interest pretty quickly. If other folk are enjoying it, fair do's.

how do you get past the bit in the early stages with the 2 laser red security cameras covering the door that shuts if you pass the beams......ive teleported in the room but cant find anything to activate????.....i have now used all my mana and cannot teleport no more.....help

That's exactly what I did and then realised the solution was incredibly simple:

WARNING SPOILER -

Stand right at the edge of the first door and do an "invisible dive" (double tap W) into the room while the door is open.

hmm anyone get stuttering in the satelite base...the bit with the cool plasma ball effect?

seems to be the same effect I get on nwn2 which is strange since my 1900xt performed better than my 8800 gts on xp... probably vista`s fault

just completed it, good end battle, a wee bit disappointed there wasnt more story to the ending.
hmm game runs fine no tearing on mine which is strange how everyone else seems to have this problem...dont even have vsync on ;p
