no you have to pay on the 31st aswell its just 10 dollars cheaper or something. if you can get a free 48hr beta code thats the only way you dont have to pay

When you create your character, you can chose it to be hardcore or normal. Note that once selected, you can't change between the two without creating another new character. ;)

My chat is a little broken, but...
Enter will bring up the chat prompt.
You'll be chatting in Proximity chat (local) by default.
If you mash F1, F2, F3, F4 enough times, you'll see the Global chat box and be able to chat in there as well :D

you choose it when you make a new character after that its locked to that character until you delete him.
just had fun murdering guys in a town! managed to loot, a crossbow, pistol, fireman hat, rifle and a bunch of other gear lol was good fun

if i get 2 months out of this ill consider that 19 quid well spent, far more game time that any sp game these days...

Yeah very true one of the main reasons i didn't buy Dishonored as it's like 6-7 hours long for £20-30.

a lot of games nowadays are like that and they have no MP aswell, so when you look at it that way it's not a lot at all if you get 50+ hours from it.

Christ thanks for that, I was going to pick it up over the weekend but 6-7 hours is £10 and under for me.
 
I really like the look of this/Dayz but this wreaks of a low budget, rushed, mess to beat Dayz while there's hype. I'll happily be proven wrong but will more than likely put my eggs in the dayZ basket.
 
meh I give up, not played a single game yet. Server browser gives me server full and quick match loads up and kick me back to the survivor/character menu.
