Trying to get the thread back on topic so....
What's everybody's fave weapon?
Fave mask?
Best loot you have found?
Any tips for others?
My fave weapon is the spiked bat
Face mask is the black skull
Best loot, murdered some guy who had a cross bow, Alice backpack, pistol hammer and loads of supplies.
My tips, buy dx bandages! They are cheap and heal a lot of damage
By electro aid again it's cheap and replenishes thirst almost completely.
I find it best to loose zombies by jumping fences or running in a building waiting till they get inside and jump out the window.

I tried to get into the blocked off part of the map, there is an invisible wall that stops you but in the right places (trial and error ) you can jump and it floats you over the wall. Good for exploring. No zombies or loot in the areas I have found though.

So you just want people who think its amazing to post so the people who want to get it are only gonna get there views? yeah thats a tad one sided!

your gonna get this reaction with any game regardless if its in alpha or not its just the fact this has been hyped up and billed to be the best ever zombie game and on first look its just not to some peoples opinion!!

I said the people who play the game, not the ones who love it, many of us have posted are criticisms and what is positive about it giving a balanced view, there are people just blindly hating on it.

Also hyped up and billed as the best zombie game ever? I think not.

1. Mossberg, or the metal baseball bat :D
2. M9 helmet, black one with the goggles, or the black mask which is epic .
3. Probably the sniper rifle, cant remember what its called, SPG something?
4.tips for others: buy the ready meals, they are invaluable, pretty much fully restores food and water :).
 
Just got a bunch of items spent 3 hours in game and got killed from behind -.- annoying, has anyones chat stopped working? sometimes when I type and press enter it doesnt show and I need to leave game and rejoin a server to chat again and it's annoying.

Logout and store some of the items, its too risky carrying it all right now.

Played for an hour before crashing out, enjoying it a bit more now.
 
Well as some1 who posted regularly prior to release i feel i over rank the troll's and the losers who think their opinion of the game matters when they haven't even played it!

The game yesterday was broke.... The game 2day is absolutely amazing! The noticeable changes for me are :

Fixed - Crashes and not able to connect
Changed - Taken off NVGs as standard. Running around with the guys earlier was the best fun i've had since Dayz, genuinely **** my pants!

Overall the game is great great great fun!... Its not Dayz its more like Left for Dead on steroids and no safe house objectives to get to.

Its not really buggy and everything works. I feel like i'm living the walking dead...

I was once a hater and a "Rhinocrunch" believer.... NO MORE!!!

The crashing is still present by the way goon, but far far less often, so much so that it doesn't bother me anymore.

Today was such a major improvement over yesterdays build.
 
wish i had the same experience as you lot my game still crashes every 1 to 3 mins, ive put a thread up on the warz forums and loads of peeps still having same issue as me.

the little bits ive played i really like, i just want to play it...
 
Played for another couple of hours tonight and didnt have one crash, although my m8 had one. The zombies are still not working very well but hey.
I actually really enjoyed it tonight, my m8 had a bat and I had a torch and when we came across someone with a wep I would intentionally move in front of them and blind them from cover while me m8 crept up behind them and bludgeoned them with his bat, worked quite well, we ended up with a 107 and a shotgun :D

All in all and despite what all the hater have been saying I think they have made significant progress in two days so fair play to them
 
If you run the launcher in compatibility mode with windows vista service pack 2, it does help with the crashing and a few people have tried it, including me :)

The only thing that ruined it for me tonight was me and my mate were both killed by an invisible zombie. We'd been alive for hours and only died because of this, disappointing, but still very fun.

ive tried that mate, im starting to think its my end thats the problem aswell as there end, but ive tried everything and i cant think of anything else to try.

ill try another reinstall tomorrow see how i get on...
 
had 2 crashes tonight in two hours which is much better than last night, it honestly feels like a different game from last night and even the players seem much better.

didn't get killed by anyone all night and a guy even gave me a helmet when i said hello to him (although i do tend to run or hide when i see others unless they notice me).

also had my best moment yet which was creeping through an abandoned military complex with stockades full of zombies and a few creeping about inside which led to me finding an uzi :)




still not found this helicopter Thegoon84 is on about though :(



ps - i tried to get on your TFU mumble Thegoon84 but i'm not sure if my mic was working properly as i don't think anyone could hear me :(
