Inno3D Discussion Thread

Just got my 3090 iChill X4, all installed and looking great. I just want to clarify, that the 4th fan on the side, only turns on when it is required, i.e. when the MOSFET gets hot? It starts when the PC starts up and then when its loaded the fan stops. Like I said, just a clarification. ;)

That is correct it kicks in when needed.

After more than a month of owning an inno3d 3070 (x2 oc), gotta say I'm pretty happy. Build looks pretty sturdy. Doesn't go above 75C at 100% load, is a little noisy but completely bearable. I'm still unsure if buying Inno3D was a good idea since compared to Gigabyte, MSI, Asus and other board partners, it has almost no reputation anywhere but considering the price I think I got a really sweet deal. Maybe I'll find out later if I need to regret it or not, but I'm good for now.

I was looking at contacting Nvidia regarding the game code. However, the original confirmation of my order doesn't outline a game code. Do I need that on the email or is the date I ordered the GPU enough?

Hi All,

I posted a new thread this morning , then i found this thread on Inno3d cards

looking at the GEFORCE RTX 3090 ICHILL FROSTBITE 24GB

I see OC UK had these in stock , went quite quick even with watercooling being niche .

has anyone got one of these ?.

Also anyone got opinions on build quality of Inno3d Cards in general , as they seem to be only supplied by OC UK.

I have a MSI 2080ti which i added a WC block to myself , runs great, but don't fancy trying this with a 3090.

Best regards
Ian.

I have had a RTX 3070 x3 and now have a RTX 3080 X3, and both have been great quality, with good cooling and (personally speaking) have great aesthetics. The only downside, which isn't much of one is the Inno3d Tuneit software is pretty bare bones, and overclocking for the 3080 is pretty much non existent. But these aren't particularly flaws, more like niggles.

Inno3D are a well and long established AIB , they are apart of the partner group that also have zotac and manli ( brands ive had also ).

Quality is on par with other AIBs in general. These are brands often sold primarily in Asian markets but OCUK have generally stocked all 3 umbrella brands over the years. Your good pal.

Still waiting since early november at position 43 and hadnt moved for 3 weeks seriously considering canceling now its getting mad .
I would suggest you don't cancel and wait, for a few reasons.
I don't know which card you are waiting for, but since November prices have risen and the X3 is now £800 the X4 is £830 and the X2 £750. In the early days Nvidia gave manufacturers a $50 subsidy which you will lose if you cancel now.
You are 43 in the queue, which believe me could be a whole lot worse if you had ordered a different card, you are highly unlikely to be able to get a different one either here or from somewhere else unless you buy from a scalper.

My advice is don't quite now, send Inno some Emails asking what they are playing at sending so little to the UK, and asking what they intend to do about the situation might Gee them up a little.
