Inno3D Discussion Thread

I did purchase a 3080 eyes wide open knowing that I’d be in a queue so I really can’t complain. Unfortunately it seems like I ordered the fictional card (inno x4).

I’ll order a 6900 on release day and take whichever comes first!
Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of pre-order's do the same. Its what I will be doing, but the really gut wrenching thing for me is that I have to say Bye Bye to G-Sync... God damn you Nvidia! :(

Supposedly a polish website are saying AMD will struggle for stock also, I will most likely swap to a 6800XT if it's available. Knew I would be in a queue but thought i'd get it this side of the year not next year.

I’d be very surprised if AMD don’t struggle with stock levels. They are at best a bit part player in the pc gpu market and if the global behemoth Nvidia is struggling why wouldn’t AMD.

Why is this thread allowed to remain open yet the one for the Gigabyte cards was closed with the statement of use the main 3080 & 3090 threads.
Seems they want you to try and use the thread for all the cards which has 10 posts every few minutes so u can basically never navigate. there was already a thread for Inno3D which got deleted. kinda ******** when i dont wana sit and sift through information to find stuff about inno3D. perhaps this is a fictional card after all

Yeah exactly why I was annoyed about them closing the Gigabyte one. I mean I get it, they don't want a thread for every variant of card, but likewise they can't expect thousands of people to use a single thread to discuss their specific card when the thread is more like a chat room for people to complain. There's some middle ground in there somewhere.

i hope you guys in the queue for the 3090 x3's got yours today because ocuk are showing 2 in stock for purchase as i type.

Because AMD's chips are being manufactured by TMSC (I believe they also used to manufacture for nVidia previously) whom rarely have issues keeping up with demand, this was Samsung's first round with nVidia and they were clearly caught on the back heel.

Innos' own facebook page, they can't claim to be unaware.

Glenden Fawcett Waited over a month for my INNO3D, unfortunately, the poor communications and lack of stock entering the UK I have now cancelled and will be using AMD for my gaming, what a shame and a fiasco from Nvidia...

Ed Cole How long before we see the stock arrive in the UK, really need this card now as running on my CPU graphics and it's just hurting

This isn't the case. More realistic is that Nvidia so badly underestimated demand, because it doesn't do 'marketing' that it cannot now cope, and it takes longer than people might think to increase production.

I’d love to be proved wrong and if so there will be a 6900xt in my pc. Sadly I suspect it’s not the manufacturer but the supply chain and regardless of manufacturer, they use similar components to make them and imo that part of the supply chain will be the problem.

I'd normally agree with you but the numbers we've seen retailers get (low triple digits since day 1 at BEST and double digits more commonly) speak to a much larger issue. Nobody (especially nVidia) in their right mind would think "yeah couple of thousand cards a week will keep up with demand across the planet", I just can't see it.

Thing is if Nvidia don't sort it out they are going to lose a lot of money from people jumping ship to AMD if they have stock. Inno i presume don't care about the European market as the only cards ive seen about are in India, China, Japan etc that side of the world.

Have Inno decided to completely redesign the heatsink for the iChill cards?

We have a completely new design for the heatsink design of the iCHILL X3. There are 7 heatpipes, increased heatpipe length and increased surface area to provide an ultimate cooling solution for hardcore gamers.
