Inno3D Discussion Thread

Inno have posted again this morning "We have re-designed the heatsink design for iCHILL X4 to max out cooling performance for serious gamers!"

I have asked Inno for clarification on this, because if they have re-designed the heatsink of the RTX3080 it would explain why only the x2 OC has been shipped.
 
They probably mean over the previous model (2080).

It’s a bit late in the day to start redesigning stuff that has only been out a few weeks and had excellent thermals to begin with.

They've made 3 posts in a week about this heatsink "re-design", the thing was known about by the public 3 months ago so it's a bit late to be making posts like this if they were about the original launch.
 
Its a pretty pathetic marketing campaign, re-iterating information that was release prior to launch with some new diagrams. Perhaps their marketing should be focused on actually providing information on how these cards will be available...? Just a thought

I purchased on the day of release an Inno3D RTX 3070 2x OC and I've been 4th in the queue for like 10days possibly longer now. Does anyone have any idea when they'll be shipped? Or any information at all would be much appreciated! Just would like a rouge idea instead of not knowing if its soon or next year or something. Cheers.
 
Bought a 3070 2x OC a few minutes before 1pm on release day and have been sat in queue position 1 for at least a week. I Guess the "ok amount of all 3070's due end of next week" hasn't turned up yet

since last friday ive gone from 24 to 19. but im half tempted to cancel. just because im really liking the look of these Hybrid 3080's evga and asus have shown off. might just wait for those.
 
got an update today that said i went from que number 14-13 for the inno3d x2 OC 3070, and idea if they received any today to send out or if this is just a cancellation?

HUH? No one to date so far as I'm aware has ever managed to get an Inno RTX3080 tofall over in testing the way the other cards did. The issue turned out to be with the drivers and not the caps, so why would this be an issue?

The quality is probably better than most other AIBs, take a look at the use of allen bolts so you can remove the fan assembly and clean the fins, much nicer than many others
