Again, suggest you chuck another 140mm or 120mm below your current intake fan and your GPU temps should drop noticeably.

LOL convection???
OK just spent an hour or so fitting a 100mm fan to the rear of the case by the CPU cooler. (things take much longer now)
and I had a bit of cable management as well... quite chuffed TBH
Anyway
I have re-run the Heaven benchmark. 30 mins then benchmark and my CPU temps have dropped to mid to high 50's... awesome....
GPU is still 83 but I am now OK with that being it's baseline, seeing that I am using the card to manage the fan speed, it still is quieter than the case..
Cheers all
Come on! pics or it didnt happen![]()
Your Heaven benchmark is better than my little ITX system which has a GTX 980.
Its a 4770k at 4.5ghz.
Stock palit jetstream speeds.
Have you thought about adding an exhaust fan to your side panel, if it permits?
I used to have 2 fans blowing air in to the side onto the vid card, but switched it have them suck air out, it was a night and day difference.
I have a Powercolor PCS+ 290x OC, and it's @ 71 degrees max at 40% fan speed, which is silent.
Otherwise its a great card...
My OC has given me a 10% increase over stock on both heaven and fire strike, so I can't complain...
