Intel Arc series unveiled with the Alchemist dGPU to arrive in Q1 2022

I am not worshipping, I am stating the truth, you won't encounter driver problems anywhere close to as consistent on Nvidia as you do with AMD.
But you know, to fit in, we must white lie things, them feels.
I have both an rtx 3090 and a 6900xt, both have good and bad points, but nvidia drivers are neither godlike nor troublefree and the interface is ancient. Amd drivers are very similar but the interface is a world apart and far better

I don't recall the last time I had problems with an Nvidia driver

I see enough people on the nvidia driver thread uninstalling them as the previous version is stable, just read the pages. People live in fantasy if they think any vendors software is perfect.

there are widespread opengl issues in this driver when using advanced lighting features such as ambient occlusion.

I don't recall having this issue when using my last card (980Ti) but since switching to a 3070 FE,
once or twice a day I will experience what I can only describe as an audio 'crunch' or stuttery glitch when gaming or viewing content e.g. YouTube.

I'm getting stuttering in hell let loose with these drivers 512.95 much better

Really don't like 516.40, causing game stuttering and game stability issues (game locks up) in Destiny 2 when the game is in Windowed fullscreen and I alt tab out and back in (Windows 11 control panel HDR enabled), all 512 drivers and older I've never had those issues.

That's from one page...

Just by the nature of pc and the massive amount of various configurations of hardware, drivers will never be perfect for gpu's, theres always gonna be some config that somehow has issues when a similar config doesn't.

All subjective. All truthful to the people with issues or none.
I have had GPU's die on both camps. XFX HD 7770 and EVGA GTX 480.

The biggest trouble was always with Radeon. The only cards to give me next to zero problems were the R9 Fury and RX 480/570.

Biggest issue with Nvidia for me was BF3 with texture discolouration. Not sure if anyone remembers the render bugs in BF3?

Never had a problem with Nvidia that was more than just "use the last driver."

Radeon: DDU because the installer is incapable. No fix.
Black screens on multiple monitor use.
Trash game supports for anything that is not a AAA release within the DX11 period and that's being generous.
Frame stuttering for no reason.
D3D device hung.
Radeon settings has stopped working followed by a BSOD.
Enabling TDR in reg edit.

If none of the fix's work and you have stopped all extra software on your PC from interfering even the ones supplied in the Radeon driver, there is only way and yeah the grass is greener for real.

Have you actually owned an AMD 6000 series GPU? If not your opinion seems somewhat outdated and irrelevant.
No I owned multiple Radeon over a 13 year course.
It is called pattern recognition.

You dismisse it because you think only the 6000 series matters. Arrogance at it's finest.

The last was the 5700-XT. Many denied them issues too and only until Youtubers chimed in they gave a quarter of a fck.

Once Radeon driver team said they have fixed it. It was still not fixed for many, me included. But the heard will read it and use that to push away gamers needing help because their experience is "best". They revert back to prior Youtube exposure. Ignorant and arrogant fools.

Bury your head.. it don't fix it.

Did someone from AMD **** in your cornflakes while another pumped your Cat by any chance?

Intel shows off benchmarks which indicate it's A770 GPU has better Ray tracing performance than an Nvidia RTX3060 and better than a AMD RX6800

I'd say this and the encoding performance is the most impressive thing with Intels GPUs

I have an Nvidia GPU, Nvidia drivers are NOT trouble free, stop with the worshipping, AMD's drivers are no better or worse than Nvidia's, Nvidia fanboys trying to perpetuate something about a someone who is a competitor to Nvidia that just isn't true anymore because like a religion faith demands it.
I concur
