Better throw it away and spend £1k on a 9800x3d, board and ram! Cripple your multitasking and productivity but you might gain 10fps in counterstrike.
I fully understand that there is sarcasm in that post. I do agree that the whole Intel CPUs dying has been blown out proportion. The Arrow Lake CPUs are good for a specific use case (productivity) and alright for gaming. But to say that a 9800X3D + MBD+MEM will cost £1k is madness because I have just priced a bundle up and its way less than that. I do not get this whole fan boy stuff going on. If you like Intel buy it and if you like AMD then buy it. Simple.
Would you switch from a 13900k or 14900k that has no issues to a 9800x3d? What benefit would there be that outweighs the cost.
