Is it just the CPU that you have bought, or did you buy the rest of the components and have those also put aside to go along with it..?

Oh my. At the very least I would need, for my own peace of mind, to build to the point of knowing if anything is DOA etc before putting them aside.

Forgot to add, I have also got a new RTX 4080 Super and a new power supply, which also haven't been checked :D
Just got to hope it all works, though I have spare power supplies and graphics cards I can use.

Oh my, what a build that will be. Amazing.

Hope that the GPU can fit your case, with adequate room for cooling etc.

How do you intend to cool the CPU...?

Interesting choice, nice to see there are freezers being bought other than an AF III type. :)
An annoyance with the AF III, at least for socket 1700, is the need to remove and replace the contact frame. Hopefully that is a non issue for you and the mounts are more traditional.
