This is a really bad take. You are what comparing a single use case of non-parallel process to suggest such. For instance anything that can be done in parallel then the cost and power usage flip since you are able to give such throughput the cost of the item although not changed has completed more workload per working hour that the cost per hour completing significantly reduces and the power reduces accordingly also.Intel are 100% correct in that assessment. CPUs or more accurately APUs are future of… well everything compute. Nvidia can run about 50 times faster at 100 times the cost and 5 times the power use.
