Intel i5 v AMD range

Sorry, who needs a 4.5GHz processor 24/7?

It's the first example that came to mind, now please do the maths?

If you don;t like that example make one up of your own choosing but . . .please do the maths?

Can you do the maths easy?

No, your going to answer the question! :)

Your the expert who rebukes my mention of my personaly interest in power savings, your told me it doesn't matter . . .doesn;t matter to who? .. you . . .me? . . him? . . .who?

FAIL

Who mentioned 4.5ghz 24/7?

Oh Dear how sad....Do you think AMD care about you? Why do you care about them? They are a buisness and you are a consumer
AMD right now are much more in tune with what I need and what I want more than Intel are . . .they are a smaller company and can react to the market a lot quikcer than INtel . . .

Wayne is pimping AMD hardware for free... due to them only having an ickle advertising budget to help them out..
No, I am pimping AMD Athlon II because they are superb bits of kit that get the job done and are affordable . .

You have no idea what is my replationship with AMD unless you are a mind-reader!

There are many on these forums that have overspecced machines and I am not one of them! . . . I'm not an ePeenie any more mate, I'm just a regular power user, photographer, Photoshopper, gamer, and ocassional bencher :)

You think INTEL are evil and your running slower hardware to make statement
wtf? :D

I'm running a fantastic system mate that is *perfect* for my needs, enough power for my tasks and plenty of tweaking options to play with!

The price is the real pleaser though, AMD got it spot on, Intel are way off the mark! . . . as you yourself have confirmed correct?

When in fact the companies couln't give two hoops what hardware you run :D
wow now your a marketing expert! :p

I have done enough BETA testing in my time..now let someone else have the fun...Let them have a chance.I'm happy to sit back and await results.
Your all mouth mate and no substance!

You could be useful if you wanted to be but instead your just a sack of wine!

To quote Prince . . ."Nothing comes from Talker but Sound!

you cant argue the peformance/cost ratio with someone like easyrider hes not short of a bob or two so it doesnt matter to him.

arknor, easy butted in to my conversation with someone else saying that increased running costs from a overclocking is not important?

a) I wasn't talking to him and b) who the **** does he think he is to tell me what *is* and *isn't* important

I don't mind listening to what people personally like/dislike about hardware but that has no bearing on me?

Your like a hardware born again religious nut but your GOD is AMD:o

You have no idea what is my replationship with AMD unless you are a mind-reader!

Unless you work for them..then you do not have a relationship.

You are a consumer just like everyone else.

So what? If it's their hobby then let them run and overclock their PC's until the cows come home. Its none of your business.

You are not better, epeenie is not bad, Unless anyone follows your POV then they are bad silly and misguided? This is what it sounds like.

Get off your high horse and let people purchase what they want.

Anyone who admits to pimping hardware.

Anyone who thinks people are dumb if they have not discovered the AMD god you follow?

Thats ironic . .

Your like a hardware born again religious nut but your GOD is INTEL i3 (@4.5Ghz for £200):o

Anyone who admits to pimping hardware.
I *own* the hardware, I can pimp as much as I like, its good! :D

Easy, are you talking to me or are you talking with someone else?

Your seem to be hearing stuff that is not being said?

please just take your time to re-read this thread and answer some of my questions, thanks!

You view is cloudy by AMD madness.
No, your view is clouded by your complete lack of understanding of current hardware, you think the whole forum should spend more money than maybe they need to?

I'm a big fan of both INTEL and AMD but right now I am feeling the AMD vibe and I know a lot of other people are too.

Buy what hardware you want mate (keyword being *BUY* heh!:p) but please pipe down a bit until you do . .

Still waiting for you to answer my two questions . . .which you seem to think you can avoid! ;)

Its pathetic TBH.

Man I've never seen someone become so righteous after reading a few web reviews!

You are not better
I have said nothing to warrant that?

epeenie is not bad
epeenie is not good . . ok its good for the manufacturers! :D

Unless anyone follows your POV then they are bad silly and misguided? This is what it sounds like
How Ironic,

re-read the thread and you will understand . . . try not to edit your posts to much . . .

Get off your high horse and let people purchase what they want.
Dude your the one on your frigging high horse! :D

All I have done is pimp AMD a bit, whats your problem?

Big.Wayne, stop trying to justify yourself. You dont need to. It is easyrider that has not answered any questions and refuses to realise that intel is not always the best choice. :)

Having owned and overclocked AMD systems in the past..Your point is moot

You joined in OCT 09 so how do you know about my hardware history?

I suggest you have an understanding of the bigger picture before you claim to even know anything about me.

Yes, I did join in OCT 09, nice to know that you can read, perhaps those skills would be put to better use by reading this thread again.

In the past . . . .

2006 is a real long time ago . . . Happy New Year Mate! . . .welcome to 2010!

AMD hardware at this current time holds no interest.

I'm inetersted in 32nm overclockable chips

Jan 2010 new 32nm chips.

What new to buy right now from AMD?

Nothing.

Get with the times wayne its 2010
