one of them there q9550's would be just great! whats happening with the 9450? EOL? seems a strange decision for a 2.66ghz part. q9400 is interesting as well

Would imagine them doing this in August, after people return to school and they need to offload some of the processors they have left after the school computer sales.

I've got my eye on a Q9550 after the prices drop! I'm hoping for 4.0+... with a P45 mobo, many people are hitting 3.6+ using a Q9450 (8x multi), so I'm hoping for the same FSB speeds but x8.5.

And hopefully x8 boards might drop a little by then as well. I'm glad they messed my pay up this month, otherwise I would have started buying already.
