Eduardo the first player to dive in the history of football. Why boo a player who plays for an English club in a game that put out a SCOTTISH team!
Croatia have been poor in all departments. No service to the strikers, midfield has been woeful, so of their passing has been terrible. Playing a midfielder at Left back.
Still they have been better than Heskey. Fails to understand the offside rule, and missed 2 easy chances.
Shocking defending for the penalty, and terrible defending and marking for the second goal.
England have closed down well, but we really haven't had to do much in reality.

I remember his last start. Most people on here criticised his every move even though he barely put a foot wrong.

Shame we didn't convert one of those glut of chances at the end of the half - a 3-0 lead would be the game all but wrapped up. Croatia have done virtually nothing, and we've played some damned comfortable football at times here.
Other than missing a sitter and a half-chance (the keeper was ready too quickly on the second), I think Heskey has done well. He's a different proposition to Defoe, and given how well we're doing, I'd say its working. Let's not forget he set up Lennon almost as perfectly as he was set up.

I was looking at the tables & can't understand it too much - even with a win against Holland, it looks to me as though they already will have the worst runners up record & not qualify?
