International football & World Cup Qualifiers 9th Sept **spoilers**

Riiiiiiiiight. So you're going to justify his diving because other people do it as well.

I'm just going out to murder joe bloggs because I saw a murder on the news today. It's alright everyone does it!

Pretty sad theory you've got going there.

What is sad is that Eduardo seems to have been vehemently victimised for it.

So I've justified something by suggesting he wasn't the first player to do it. Ok.

I'm merely pointing out other players have dived, those dives have as much bearing on this game as Eduardo's did last week.

I was looking at the tables & can't understand it too much - even with a win against Holland, it looks to me as though they already will have the worst runners up record & not qualify?
Ah, but because they're in the smaller group, all the other runners up have their results against the worst team in theirs knocked off, which could well be two wins for some of them.

Ssshhhhhhh, the anti-Lennon brigade will hear you!

Guy could score a hat-trick and get 5 assists against Italy and it would still be purely down to poor defending on here ;)

Haha im not anti Lennon, he's doing very well recently for England but to say he has improved tenfold is a little over the top. He's put 1 cross of note in and got fouled from quite a few opportunites, his running has been great and he's definitely making the most of the space he's been given.

Ta - I hadn't thought about that!:)

Edit - I think that scenario may just have died though!

Why not just hold your hands up and say he dived and deserved the ban.

Is it really that difficult?

It's not the first time UEFA have banned a player for diving (happened in an international game vs Scotland)

Yeah, like UEFA don't have a few Scottish bods in their ranks.

...And that was definitely a penalty against Johnson there.
