No wonder there is so many paper aeroplanes on the pitch, This has been boring :o

Why is Welbeck up there on his own? he keeps dropping too deep >_<
 
France/Sweden/Ukraine must be quaking at this.

Boring hoof-ball by England. Same players hoofing it over to the forwards as it has been for the last ten years. Never going to progress with them in the team. It's all well and good bringing in exciting players like Chamberlain, but how many times does he actually get the ball in to feet and get to pass and run.

Because for whatever reason Terry and Gerrard seem to play it out from deep by hoofing it up and over, hoping someone gets on the end of it. Hasn't worked for years but they continue to do it. Always going to be the same with them in the team. England need ball playing players at the back who are comfortable holding it and playing to feet.
 
Absolutely awful, just hoofing it up there and hoping Welbeck/Young do something with it. It's never going to work, Welbeck/Young/AOC are best with the ball at their feet not having it lobbed up to them.

I wonder if there's an England midfielder that can actually keep the ball and make simple passes to hold possession and build on it...

In fairness Gerrard should be able to do it but he's been awful the past year or so.
