Seemed like it to me, your point was that 4chan had a child pornography section and that it was somehow rife on there, like most people having a fit about 4chan think.

When in reality it's just some ****s trolling and getting dealt with mods, but things just move so much faster there and it has vastly more users, that it attracts more of these people.

You could use most message board based websites in your argument using that logic.

But if it were the Isle of Wight with just a few, compared to the whole of the United States with just 100, I'd prefer the US.

I'm not arguing that, I was arguing against Fenris saying that the site shouldn't exist.

Although I'm not sure why, none of the boards are very good and you can find dedicated forums elsewhere that are better for all of them.

I've defended 4chan on here before, citing it as a MCS of sorts. I actually take that back now and wouldn't defend it again. You could have a thousand posts on there that are no different to what we have in the random image thread, but it only takes one person to post something obscene that instantly makes those other thousand not having been worth seeing. Granted you could have the exact same problem anywhere else on the internet, but I think the whole thing is made worse by the anonymity factor.

fyi I know not all boards are the same as /b/, but it's not exactly hard for a /b/tard to go trolling in another forum and spoil it for people there. My advice is to avoid it like that plague and stick to somewhere like mcs or here if you're in it for the random images.

Yer, it's a Swedish guy who runs a website specifically for paedophiles, who then DDoS'd 4chan, there's LOADS of info around about him somewhere, and there was a campaign to get people to spread posters about him in his neighborhood, dunno what came of it.
