I posted a long reply to another internet / general dating thread a while ago so rather than retype all the points you can get it here. it is a long post so be warned. It is part of iv-tecman's thread on 'Why must dating be so hard' which is also one (of the many) threads which includes knips lady bumps. Full thread is here.

I was just thinking... I took a little time to think before i wrote out my profile.
I tried hard not to sound samey, and wanted to get over (as well as anyone can online) What i'm like, without it being long winded and laborious. I think i pulled it off, I'm not sure.

Oh and i'm not looking for free labour, just wanted to put off certain guys from messaging me, rude boys, lazy boys, got no job boys... the list goes on. Ha!

Also when picking out what pictures to put up.
I only put up pictures that really show 'me'.
Bit goofy, always got a stupid grin... Err... you get the picture huh?

nah think i got you mixed up with someone else who posted their women contact conversations coz they thought it was a scam and it eventually turned out that the woman was genuine. Lot of folk took umbrage at it. cant remember who it was....hrmm nm.
 
Meh who cares, I haven't included any names and it's not like anyone knows who the hell she is... I just posted it as I found it amusing, not because I thought it was some kind of scam (why would I?). :)

Just stumbled across a really attractive lady, london based, real (noot cheesy) clubber, and can write coherently with a good sense of humour!

If only I weren't fresh out of a long term thing and not looking for anything other than friends! doh!
 
Spent 5 hours lastnight on msn chatting with a lovely lady I met on pof a weeks ago, due to meet her for a drink in 2 hours and im crapping myself. Not been this nervous in god knows how long, guess its because i actually like her.
 
I'm off to stay at the girls house for the evening who I had the first date with on Sunday... the other girl (Slovakian stunner) is dragging her heels in a generally non-commital fashion so I don't think that one is going anywhere. Oh well, shame and everything, but the other girl is still very nice! :D
