Well another eventful evening. The women who wants me for 'special time' is currently sending me rude pictures (true story)

and two other women I've been chatting to tonight have given me their numbers...

By alas the one I emailed hasn't replied :(

Id love to learn to play the piano properly one day and I love a lot of classical music.

Doooo eeeet! :D Best thing I ever took up. I got to the point a few months ago where I could play the one piece that inspired me to start learning - it'd become a lifetime goal because I was so obsessed with it. Sometimes it can be downright frustrating but the results are really really worthwhile. I had a go of a piano in a hotel a few months back after a few beers for courage, knocked out the Moonlight Sonata 1st mvt and a few other pieces and a couple of the waitresses were round the piano while I was playing. :p My workmates were like

if you found someone with similar interests would you ever be willing to share your piano passion with them? I think in relationships you need similarities but also differences so that you can introduce each other new things.

Yep of course. Learning to play easy duets and the like is awesome fun. :D Funny thing is that one of the best players I know has a wife who can't stand classical music yet they've been together for about 10 years I think. Not sure if I could deal with *that* much of a difference, though.

I'm currently seeking some nice young lady to sit on my knee while I play piano for her... unless of course I need to cross arms, then she'll be in the way... but it's kinda nice for a while.

It's not much of a challenge to find a piano, especially as there's some just in the street waiting to be played! :p

yea good mate, find reading this thread interesting:o do you still miss amanda then:(

Yeah, this thread is a testament to the depth of your regular OcUK members and the shallow nature of the people on dating sites!

No I got over Amanda a long time ago. It's been bang on 12 months since now. We've talked since with the mortgage etc and we're both happier now, although she got the good end of it despite what she did. It's made me much stronger and surprisingly confident. Feel a bit like I did when I met her at 18 with an almost 26 year old head on my shoulders.
