Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

There is one thing i love about facebook, people put their lives on it and it's this you know exactly what the person is like away from the dating profile... She looks like a nice girl, nice profile and talks to you in a lovely way. But check her FB and she looks like she gets hammered a lot and gets into fights :p

God sake! So many times messages just whittle in to nothing!!

I kinda have this problem at the moment, been chatting to a girl on PoF who seems really nice, only got 1 pic up though. She added me on FB and having seen her pics I don't fancy her :o

I'm not gonna tell her that though, will just try and phase her out gradually I think.... *whistling*

Well first one we actually kissed at the end but she NEVER answered the phone and her message style changed right after. Almost as if she had a great time and liked the kisses but she didn't want to take it further just good friends. But going by her previous dates " it's not you it's me " i wonder why. She actually said to me at first " oh i didn't hear the phone it was on charge up stairs " then she would say " I hate using the phone so i don't answer it ". I felt ignored :(

Heres a bit about me, I'm Dwayne, I've decided to see what new friends i can make on here as many of the friends i know I've lost contact with as they moved away due to work and uni so thought I'd try something new in finding friends. Also if I find a relationship in the process that thats a lucky bonus too

erm, I work at a cinema which is ok,although can be a pain at times such as the antisocial hours

I'm a big lover of music, I'm also interested in media production, photography, mountain biking (which i do a lot of, maybe too much haha!)

I'm also quite chatty (don't be afraid to tell me to shut up haha! I might talk for England otherwise!) I can also be kinda shy around some girls even whilst being chatty. (Probably talk rubbish to cover it by automatic reaction kinda thing I guess!)

Annoyingly the shyness sometimes has lead to silly things happening....

like the time in a niteclub my fleece ended up getting hit onto the floor by a group of girls dancing nearby who then trampled over it for a while because i got to shy to tell them it was mine and didn't know them.

Or the time when rushing into work I didnt notice my coat fall out the door of my car as i ran into work locking the car behind me only for my boss to arrive, see it there and park her car on top of it because she mistakingly thought I didnt mind her doing it because im shy of her. Worse thing was i just went "ok" when she told me as i was shy when she told me :S. ended up with a smashed up ipod that was in its pocket :(

Or the time i cleaned a screen not relising my zip had become undone only to wonder why a group of girls were laughing at me. They did tell me after they laughed at me for a few mins, I guess i'm lucky in oneway it was only them and not loads of other people but still embrassing. Ended up putting my phone down in the seat in my embrassment of trying to do the zip up and then forgetting it only for the girls to pick it up and hand it to me after their film had finished laughing at me again! Embrassing!!

Problem is i keep finding girls who want to take advantage of me, hopefully your not tho...

(so please be careful with me haha! eek! that sounds almost like a plee! haha!) erm...but enough of my daftness in shyness! I'm probably making it sound worse then it is although i am told its funny by some people :S

I'm also quite outgoing, love the outdoors,like cars and driving, movies, pubs, clubs. Basically almost anything that gets me out and having a good time.

I also have a sense of adventure...(which maybe why i like mountain biking and traveling.
Just seeing if I find any friends on here as many of my friends have moved away and maybe a relationship, erm...hoping to find someone who doesnt mind me being shy if i do become shy (but hopefully not)...erm...

Someone else had also sent a very long message - but personalised to my profile which I thought was really sweet. But... I'm not interested, so do I just ignore or reply and say I'm not interested? If I reply, would that not just be like rubbing salt in the wound and make him feel silly??
