I never bothered to fire off the message, I have standards. :p
Distracted with 2 others at the moment, both the slow and steady types.

I'm only bothering with those in 5 miles, what about you?

Got a date on Friday, talking to two others. I'm having more luck on OkCupid than PoF though.

Still no word from the woman who I'm supposed to be meeting on Friday. She was all excited about it last time she emailed. I don't understand the female psyche one bit :(

Probably happens on both sides

But i hate people who plan a date and it's organised then completely ignore the person. It was worse for me as we had a day and time planned a week in advance, two days before the date she messaged me how she was really looking forward to it and was it still on. The day before the date she cancelled on me and then completely ignored me . I felt like messaging her a rather negative message but i felt it wasn't worth it, move on and find someone that is reliable and actually looking to be loved

Happens mate, had it happen to me in the last 3 weeks, I honestly think they get hooked by another male. The competition is intense!

Hehe old fashioned way seems to work better for me, got chatting with a girl I met at my ex's friends BBQ a few years ago, remember thinking corr she's cute when I was there, but being with someone at the time, didnt really do anything.

Sent her a message on FB asking her if she was single, meeting up for a drink at the weekend :)

Her first date opinion. I scent a little princess. Move along cutie, and wiggle that ass as you walk away :D

edit:

26 years old? Sure ...

Well my date went really well today, got the train to liverpool, went to the pub and talked for about 3 hours then walked around for a bit where I couldn't really get a conversation going.

But I asked if she wanted to go to the cinema next week to which she said yes, so things are looking up :D!

My first thought was the name on the profile and the photo don't match.

Could have been the photographers name - often get it with 'professional' snaps you get in bars - the photographer maintain the image rights too

But in this instance that doesn't look to be the case, and it may be a 43 year old called Trevor.

so i thought id just must say hi.

:/ Some of the messages I get just make me think "Do guys really think messages like this work???"
