I was drunk one night, and a friend told me that if I applied I get 3 dates, 3 free meals, and I just pick my favourite. So I applied whilst still drunk, then found out I was to be a host, and I didn't have the heart to pull out as my friends were all really excited about it.

It's not free food, I'm cooking it. They've given me £50 towards it, but I spent quite a lot over that as I had to practice the other night, and stock up on drinks as I know nothing about the girl. I hope she is hot.

A couple of the guys I've been talking to just don't seem to be making much effort anymore so given up with them lol. Ball has been left in their court I'm not chasing. Still trying to decide what to wear for my first date tomorrow lol.

We are seeing a film then going for a drink afterwards.
I know most people will say the cinema is the worst thing for a first date but he said "perhaps a drink and something else" I asked friends what was about and all they said was cinema. He's happy with it though, it's a short film so we have plenty of time to go for a drink afterwards and it gives us something else to talk about

I didn't really fancy dinner and a drink because (and I know this sounds silly) I get quite self conscious eating in front of people and I'll already be really nervous as it is lol (plus I can't really afford it.)

I don't want to look too overdressed for it but I want to look nice at the same time lol

Was thinking of wearing what I wore to the London meet (don't worry I've washed it all again) but didn't know if that was too dressy lol. Argh! Guys have it so easy!
