Yeah, just annoying though! Ah well, had a nice night even if I did embarrass myself in front of all our friends...:o:p

Hopefully I should have two meets this week, just organising locations now, so maybe something will come of those. It's a bit awkward because I don't really know London very well, I end up essentially asking the girl to pick somewhere to meet rather than asking them somewhere... Bad form?
 
Had a third date yesterday with a girl I met on POF. Went Ice Skating (her idea), then went for a meal, followed by watching a movie at my place. Things are looking quite positive at the moment.
 
I get loads of views on my profile, well quite a lot last few days must be doing something wrong because I never get messages.

Had two entire time I have been on there, kinda lame :(

Bit of an update :

After meeting a load off PoF and never really being fully interested in any of them I have finally met a beautiful girl and we decided to make it official the other day and she is now my girlfriend.

Very happy compared to how I was a few months back, for anyone out there that feels like giving up, patience is the best advice! the genuine girls are out there!

Patience is key as you said, and I know from my experience,

I met Mrs Kerry on POF, 4 years ago and now we have a couple of kids,

Well that has come back to slap me in the face. She txt me earlier today to say she "got drunk and had sex with someone" on Sunday night. I appreciate her honesty but there would always be trust issues from now on so looks like we've come to an end.

You've been on three dates, that's all. She can bone whoever she likes if you haven't agreed to exclusivity. Trust issues...oh dear.
 
I must say, I can't for the life of me see why MisChief is single having met her at the Karting event on Saturday. :eek: Lack of eligible blokes in London or something?

Yeah, they are having a massive problem with advertising. A dating site called true.com has been running an advert on POF using a picture of a guy from the US army. The problem is they don't have permission and the guy has been dead for about 4 years. Therefore in a case of USA madness the parents are suing true.com (fine) and POF (WTF?!) Story here:

So really if these people win their case, POF's owner really has little choice but to convert to being a fully paid for site. It's impossible for them to check the content of the ads. Crazy stuff!
 
Alright then gents. What if we later on decided to become official, but still only saw each other a few times a week due to the distance. She could still be sleeping around whenever I wasn't there. This came the day after she asked me to meet my family. Can you honestly say if you were in the same position that you could trust her from there on?
