Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

Heh, all im thinking is i need to get this locked down sooner or later, starting to think i need to go more direct, i mean we've been out about 8 or so times now, both get on great and always have quick kiss end of the night.
 
Getting sick of talking to someone, then meeting them and they look completely different to their pictures (usually about 5 stone heavier) not being funny, but why use out dated photos it just makes no sense.

Because otherwise they'd get no dates by the sound of it...
 
I have a bit of a decision to make. The girl I met on Friday night ... things are going ok. I know, it's been 5 days but she's Scandinavian and they move at lightening pace. She's fun, cute, fiercely intelligent and seem to read me like a book, but in a good way. Matters in bed are GREAT. Ridiculously easy to please her. If you know what I mean ..

Only one tiny problem, she's not very pretty or very clean. As in her flat. It's kinda shocking how dirty it is. Now I said she's not very pretty, but she's cute in a shy girly way just not when it comes to pure looks. I'm just not sure how important it's going to be along the way. You can call me vain all you like but it's important for the continuing attraction to last. I can't suss this out. I'm in communication with 3 other girls that's keen on a date but I 'might' wanna give this one a shot. Just not sure if the cleanliness and looks issues is going to start bugging me down the line

It wont work if you find her that ugly. Something pretty will come along one day during a period of negativity in your relationship and you'll tap it because it's pretty. Seems you want to be in a relationship but don't settle with that, looks a very important part of a relationship. You can't **** personality.

Tell her the story, make it sound funny.

You were out shopping (tell her where you were, what you were buying) and found yourself in the baking department, what the hell were you doing there? Then you remembered that she likes baking... Seriously girl, what are you trying to do to me? Some kind of witchcraft? Etc.etc. You could also ask for a cake or for her to cook a meal for you.

This should make her laugh and and should also tell her that you like her and think about her when she isn't there, all without being too direct.

Alternatively, you can do your best James Blunt as others have suggested ;)
 
I think I might have to get involved in this actually - I haven't really met any women I actually like romantically for absolutely ages, so I should probably broaden my horizons.
Unfortunately I'm in a bit of a transitional phase at the moment - unemployed, and not sure what I want to do so need to sort that out to avoid looking like a waster (of course that applies in general as well, not just for online dating).
 
I guess I should have told her the story.

She just cancelled tonight, I don't know if that's a blow out or legitimate thing. I guess she had all day to cancel so if she wanted to blow me out she wouldn't leave it till last minute, shes always been straight up before.

Last night I got asked by a woman if I'd like to go to a Singles night with her next week..

How does that work!! :o LOL
 
Match seems to have some good potential, but I guess that comes from having to pay for the service. Quite tempting.

that's because they want you to sign up and pay. once you've signed up all the good potential will all of a sudden have disappeared and you'll be left emailing not so good girls who don't pay any way so can't read your messages
