I scored well with that :D couple of munters, a couple of nut-jobs (first one: stood me up, then left the country, then got back in touch a fortnight later to say she'd been to the Czech Republic to set up being a surrogate mum for a couple whoc couldn't have a baby. WTF??!!).

But - I met the girl I've spent the last 6 months with on PoF, she's an absolute angel, so there you go ;)
 
I thought I would give my experience of PlentyOfFish on here. I'd sent quite a few messages to girls with no reply and out of the blue received a message from a girl who liked my profile (we shared an uncommon interest). We met five times and and spent over 20 hours together as the sense of time just seemed to evaporate. Well the last time I met her was when I visited her flat for the first time after work and also met her flatmate. The next day I received a text saying she didn't feel a spark even though I was the most genuine and interesting person she had gone out with. I was shocked to say the least and have been left wondering what caused the suddent change (I'm thinking meeting after work might have been a bad idea or her flatmate didn't like me). I thought she was 'the one' but sadly I wasn't the one for her. I've now cancelled my POF account as there are so many rough, plastic or snooty girls on there it's not even funny. I can see it being a long time until I meet another girl that I feel that kind of connection with but hey-ho life goes on :)
 
That's really bizarre, surely after spending that much time together she'd at least want to stay in contact even if it was just 'friends' kinda thing?

Something definitely odd happened there!

Can understand how gutted you'd be over that.

Invite her out as friends, she may not have felt the spark, but that doesn't have to mean the end of your association? Who knows where it could lead.

I use it yeah, but I pretty much deleted most of my profile. I was sick of getting no responses after putting loads in my profile. So I removed most of my stuff, so I can't complain about not getting any messages lol.
 
I wasn't getting any messages from people, a few but those I already knew or knew through other people(bunny boilers), or fattys. I started thinking maybe my profile was all wrong or I'm just not that attractive.

So I changed my location and started getting the odd one or two messages, but I unfortunately had to ignore them all as I do not live there.
Many dating sites hardly have anyone from Jersey, seriously limiting things.

The only reason I keep it around these days is the idea that; "If I don't, I'll never know."
