Yep. I don't think she can even read it. She'll get a notification that you sent her an email and that's all.

It's why match.com is a bit of a scam. There is a class action lawsuit against them in America for this very reason.

They should at least tell you which users are non subscribing. But instead, they offer you a membership upgrade so that non subscribing members can contact you. It's a disgrace!

Edit: It's particularly bad as they aggressively marketed the 1 month free trial which means there are probably 10's of thousands of inactive accounts.

Even more so since their site is the least mobile friendly, you cannot write messages at all. At least that being the case on my HTC Desire hd but I reckon its intentional so you have to pay even more just to use their "mobile" site.
 
Been chatting to quite a cute girl recently, petite, pale and geeky, just how I like 'em >.< conversation seems to hold up too hehe

EDIT: It wont let me do that either. That totally sucks! Oh actually it turns out it did let me so I've sent like 10 emails to her in one go now. Awesome - thanks Match.com

Right so i've been out on two dates now with blokey from POF. He's nice enough, not bad looking and easy to chat to, but theres just no chemistry from my point of view.

I dont want to lead him on, so now I need to decide how to broach the "I think we're better as friends" thing. This is partly why i've stayed away from the dating thing, because I am then crap at dealing with the consequences!

Lack of chemistry is a common problem on dating sites... you see a pic, write some funny words an organise a date... not realising that in real-life you wouldn't have even done the date if you had met them in person for more than 5 minutes.

Just be straight with him and tell him you think he is a great guy but that there is no chemistry. He should understand if he's the alright sort.
 
People tend to fall for me quickly, making the whole affair very difficult. I'm just gonna have to be tougher about it, I just hate letting people down. Sometimes my good attributes are my downfall :/

I've got my 4th date tommorow, well the "re-start" date.

Going on a bike ride yet I don't have a bike so I have to borrow my dads, this is going to be fun :p haha.

I agree with Richdog. Just say you are really sorry, there is no chemistry. It isn't insulting, you just aren't compatible from your point of view.

If a girl told me that I would accept it without a problem. When someone says some cliche line I just find it irritating and insulting. I think I read your post before from your first date and could tell you weren't overly excited!

To cheer myself up I have bought a 1080p projector and currently enjoying Lemans 24 in HD with a pint :)

Never suggest "lets just be friends", hate it when girls suggest that and then never actually act friendly with you. :rolleyes:

No chemistry full stop. If he wants to be friends he will say so, but I think you'll find he will probably ask if anything put you off, not ask to be friends unless your chat and interests really kicked off.
