Internet Dating.....Who Has Done it?!

it means sleepy or your boring him to sleep? or something of that direction lol

anyways, no updates on my part :( the two girls i was having a good little messaging convo kinda hit a brick wall, really not sure why, Mischief still hasn't accepted my offer of a date (i do miss Dorking, they have some nice pubs on the high street haha)

Thinking of deleting my POF account, especially now i can't see who has looked at my profile :(

Signed up to POF last week. Seems to be a few decent young ladys in my area of my age so sent a decent size message like they ask for on the profile but like many people not a single reply. Does nobody have the courtesy anymore to say thanks but no thanks..?

I don't really care that I've lost the ability to see who has viewed me, they either reply or they don't. Don't update the mobile app and you can still see it there anyway, either way I can still see how recently they've been online by looking at the "sent messages" page.

Miffed that PoF have started charging for the Viewed Me function! I wouldn't have minded if they introduced a new feature and started charging for that, but to charge for something that's been free for sod knows how long, smacks of money grabbing of the highest level.

Yeah, they are having a massive problem with advertising. A dating site called true.com has been running an advert on POF using a picture of a guy from the US army. The problem is they don't have permission and the guy has been dead for about 4 years. Therefore in a case of USA madness the parents are suing true.com (fine) and POF (WTF?!) Story here:

So really if these people win their case, POF's owner really has little choice but to convert to being a fully paid for site. It's impossible for them to check the content of the ads. Crazy stuff!

Well I went out on another first date yesterday. She turned out to be really nice, even better than the first, with some real chemistry. Tall, slim, attractive and with a great sense of humour. Ended up leaving basically at closing time at the bar we were in and managed to give her a cheeky kiss before we went our separate ways (not sure if she was going for a peck on the cheek, but I've missed the opportunity to many times before!:p). She even insisted on paying for one round and text me to ask to meet up again when she got home that night...

I'm sure it will fall apart, probably before the second date again! But at the moment i'm organising another first date with a girl I've been texting (from Okcupid - found it far better than PoF) for a week or two, however it will have to be special to beat the date last night.

Not really Internet Dating but a slight issue?

I met this woman ages ago but we really got talking through FB in the last month, She turned up at one of our family events and she wasn't what I was expecting, she looked like she was in her 40's. Kinda put off by this, but what the hell a good friend. We went for a walk through some nice scenic areas and we were both very much alike and got on really well, but still even though my mum ( from the event ) thinks this woman is good looking, I think she looks a lot older than me!. She's thin, slightly smaller than me and black hair :p

Still getting on, I went to the movies with her and we laughed but a few times I felt like I was with a cougar, it doesn't help the fact that people think i'm 23 when i'm 32 . I really enjoy her company but even though she is 34 two years older than me she doesn't look it!. After the movie she invited me inside for an hr or so, had a drink we had a really good laugh but nothing happened. It's so damn annoying that she is everything I want in a woman but I have trouble going out with women that look much older than me.

Maybe it's my autism I don't know, but i've been told i'm incredibly fussy I look about 23 and have the maturity of a 26 year old

Going by the pictures I've seen of you on here now way do you look 23. I thought you were older then 32 if I'm honest :D No offence. If she's everything you want in a woman go for it.

Trust me in person I look about 23 this isn't something i just made up either, people always say after being asked how old do you think I am " 23 "... One person even said 18 :p

Met the current girlfriend on OKc, been together about 8 months now, I think. Probably wrong. Definitely a good way to get to know people and to be yourself without the hassle of being nervous, makes meeting up quite easy I found.

Yes there are the odd people on there, but you really can meet lovely people.

On the stuff about looking young, I turn 23 in a few weeks and still get ID'd for scratchcards sometimes :(
