Seems quite abit faster than Beta 1 and it's added some new features like colour tabs and suggested sites.

No match for Opera yet though.

I do wish that Opera would have, by default, an inline spell checker.

It's pretty simple to add a really powerful (AJAX Gmail style) one which is available to launch as a keyboard shortcut (ctrl+,).

Thanks for that. I actually used Aspell and managed to get it installed. I am just v-e-r-y lazy and appreciate the Spell check in FF, as I'm using now, which requires no keystroke to use and places a red line under a questionable spelling automatically.

BTW - The only other problem that I had with Opera was the fact that when installed under Vista64 a hyperlink would not open from Outlook 2007 when clicked and Opera was set as the default browser. Using Windows mail or WLM it would open Opera but not from Outlook.

If you use all the plugins that come with Firefox definitely not. But for it's good for the average user who wouldn't download Firefox and Opera. And good for developers that IE is catching up.

i downloaded this last night and spent a few hours on it getting very annoyed with it as it kept crashing on sites that contained java and flash , even crashed a few times on these forums.
gone back to standard IE7 and everything is fine.

Surely if your beta testing, you shouldn't do this on your main rig and you should send all of your bug reports to MS?

god i always thought people used ie7 because they didn't know about better alternative browser. shame that microsoft released such bad browser and forced people to put up with it. if firefox didn't exist i wouldn't be online at all

Bad browser? Explain, I use ie7 + ie7pro for 90% of the things and firefox 3 for mainly porn and warez etc... I don't find it any more pleasant to use than ie7, in fact I miss some of the IE7pro features such as rmb draw controls... Only use FF as it's considered safer...
