Well I've made my mind up and going for the SL-5000 after a lot of checking out the range in reviews and u tube ect - and I guess smogsy had an influance too :D

I'll post back what I think of it when it arives - should be Friday now - I'm off work then :D - should give me time to put it together!
 
Im stuck on chair, just done 3 nightshifts so i deserve a treat. How do AK Racing, Arozzi, DX and these stack up against each other?

Bit of info for a helpful decision.

Medium/slim build

Would prefer leather/fakeleather over fabric

For Qaulity forget AK/Arozzi in my opinon. DK/Verta only choice

Cheers, hopefully the SL4000 is of similar quality and build. Think I'll be making my purchase at the weekend. :)

As for the time, mine is correct. Might be worth going to User CP, Edit Options, then ensure your time zone is correct and that DST settings are automatic.

EDIT - Weird bug! I've quoted you and my post appears before yours, but just noticed your post is timestamped 40 minutes in the future! Haha

So, here's my 1st impressions:

The seat is firm but very comfortable - it supports your lower back without the cushions - think I'll just be using the head one. Assembly was pretty straight forward but had to slacken off the rear support brackets fitted to the chair base to get the back fitted - they seemed to hold the brackets too wide to be able to fit the required screws - but all went well in the end.

The only negative was the fitment of the telecopic pole into the base (wheel legs) - I think the tollerence of the hole is too large and the tapered pole sank too far down exstending well beyond the base of the wheel legs! thus limiting the max hight of the chair by some 1 1/2 inches - I ended up packing it out by wrapping layers of tin foil round the pole, holding in place by strips of sellotape, and has done the job well - you can't see the foil once installed because the telesopic covers mask it all :D

Quality of the chair overall is very good - nice overall design and no flaws as I can see in my example - Overall I'm well chuffed and looking forward to a much more comfortable gaming experience from now on to that of the old 'office' chair I had - lol

Bought the SL2000 on Tuesday, first gaming chair ive owned an i must say the quality an support (back) it gives is great 10 outta 10 from me :D

I've got plain black as the only down side imo is the chav an boy racer colors, but each to there own.

Well if you can find the AK racing thread, I have pictures of mines on there, Returned it x3 each one looked like it came directly from a skip, Got my first DXRacer and it was perfect first time.
