iOS 5.0.1 goes live

I updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 and lost half my apps, still trying to recover them.

Updated to 5.0.1 on my 3GS on the same day as getting the screen replaced... The proximity sensor doesn't work any more. More likely to be the screen replacement, do we think?

Should be easy. Open the App Store, go to the 'updates' tab, tap on 'purchased' then 'not on this iPhone'. Shouldn't take ten minutes to download them all again from there.

Well 5.01 has increased my 4S battery life by far so really happy chappy

Thanks that seems to had got most of them back, just two missing now which are not on there, but I can live with that

Getting more and more ***** of with this update. Webrowser crashing and getting stuck.
Have to close tab and open site again and it works fine. Or just safari crashing totally.
Grrr this is why I disliked android when I had it.

More of a rant than anything.

Are you sure it isn't the memory leak that slipped into iOS 5 that's causing the problem (I can barely use some apps at times before they crash back to the home screen and around 90% of the time it's due to low memory and I never had problems like this before iOS 5 went live).

It could well be. Only seems to affect web browsing.
