The new app switcher is horrid. Slower and less intuitive than before, apps organise in the wrong direction for my brain and also make it harder to reach with your thumb when holding one handed. Do not want. Still no clear all in notification centre.

Have to agree with you there I'm not too keen on the new switcher, seems a step backwards to me.

I wish they would also implement a shut all apps down with one swipe (down), so simple but very useful (it was one thing I liked having a jailbroken phone to have this feature).

Amazing they have not included such a simple feature with the current IOS.

Updated iPad, now I can't update any apps, they all show "UPDATE" for a split second then it changes to "OPEN" and all you can do is open the app.

Hopeless Apple. How long have you been testing? How many betas? Update to the release and within a minute I find a huge issue. Total crap.

This issue was happening on my iPad before this update

I now think this is done by Apple (These were all updates that I didn't install prior to new iOS release)

Installed on iPhone and iPad with no problems, along with further app updates on both.

Can't say I'm a fan of the app switcher either - to my mind the open apps should sit, ideally in the order in which they were opened, on top of the home screen. Not with the home screen on top ...

I thought there was quite a lot of new and tweaked stuff.

With my day to day usage none of that guff really matters. Many of the mail features I use have been available in Outlook for some time and the rest is are minor improvements that I'll never really care about.

I'm not knocking it, but for me it's no real game changer.

The biggest difference I can see is the new font.

My battery seems to have been massively improved on my i6. Been browsing this forum and other websites for the last hour and half now, using only 7% battery. If this continues I'll be seriously impressed.

Installed on iPad Air without any problems. Newsstand has locked up completely a couple of times, some strange behaviour in The Times app and my vpn app screws up wifi when it's turned off.

Mine is identifying Chrome on my iMac as being Safari on my app switcher on the phone. Odd. If I open it then it opens Safari but on the page where Chrome is open.
