No GPS on the WiFi iPads. If you tether you get location information from your iPhone but it doesn't update very often.

EDIT3: Lots of commentary online about how the stock levels don't seem to have diminished on the online store. What are your thoughts? I don't know what to think really - maybe there really is enough stock to go around.

Just reserved one for pick up today, but can't cancel the online order I made as it's already preparing for dispatch. Ack!

Cheers for the reservation link - just booked one at the Trafford centre for this evening - stock levels look accurate as they vary by product/colour by store so fingers crossed.
 
Does anyone else get an issue when reserving where you select the model and type the letters in, then click sign-in, enter your Apple ID info and then it takes you back to the reservation landing page?

I didn't get any email confirming the reservation.
 
No. Chatted with a genius and she said that the stores are taking Apple ID verified reservations only. So much for the scalpers :)
 
I've tried two London stores in 3 different browsers (IE, Chrome and Firefox), all have the same issues once I've entered my Apple ID info and click next.
 
I don't think that the 64GB ones are available anywhere today, that's why they are also on a longer dispatch timeframe for online orders too. Only the 16GB and 32GB ones (wifi and wifi+cellular) models are available today.
 
I ordered this morning but its preparing for dispatch now so I can't cancel. I could not believe they later opened reservations for in-store, two surprises in one day!

I was so ****ed off with this that I reserved to pick up in-store and I just got back from the Bluewater store with it, its amazing! The guys in instore told me that they did not know what was going on until head of retail phoned them and said reservations were live, it was very quiet in store and they haven't even got it on display yet :)

Gonna have to refuse delivery of the online order when its delivered between the 20th and 22nd :(
