iPad now?...or wait?

Bought my iPad earlier today and i have to say, nothing about it has really "wowed" me yet. I find it a lot slower than my iPhone 4 and i think the screen resolution definitely needs improving.

Any suggestions for apps that will help me fall in love?

..camera on an iPad? Really? I literally cannot imagine anything more pointless. I love my iPad lots, didn't get it at first but I'm hooked on the thing - it does so much, especially now I can print from it. If I could save / manage downloaded files/emails it'd be near perfect.
 
Been offered a 16gb + 3G for £500...if I get the new contract. Think I'm going to have it. It's brand new, unwanted gift...

You can get a refurb with that spec for £489. It's obviously not brand new, but near as damn it, so I don't think £500 is much of a bargain tbh. :)
 
I'm waiting to see what is announced officially for ipad2, then if it's worth it I'll wait, if not I'll buy a current one.
 
The A4 won't be used to power a tablet with much higher res. So I'm looking forward to what p.a.semi/intrinsity, just apple now I guess, have cooked up.

I want a rear camera too, can't have proper lounge facetime/skype without one :)
 
it's not easy to enjoy an ipad screen if you have an iphone 4 so I for one will be hoping for a higher resolution display on the next version.
 
Engadget have come across an iPad 2 case at CES complete with a proposed iPad 2 mockup. If it's mockup is accurate it looks very nice! The mockup looks like it would fit in other cases that have been spied in the wild.

Thinner and Tapered corners compared to 1st gen iPad. Looks like the current iPod Touch.

You get used to the lower res screen of the iPad, it takes time though as I was in the same position. It took me a good month or so to adjust to the 'poorer' display on the iPad as I was so spoilt by the iP4's screen.
 
Was there not rumours of an iPad with a larger screen coming out? Also wish the current iPad had retina screen res.

Depends what your using it for?

My iPhone 4 is 16gb, I have 2000 photos on there and my music, along with apps (not many) I have 4gb free :)

I was looking into one for university in a year and a half's time. I can't bring myself to spend about £850 on a macbook, and I have my main windows desktop that I can do most of my stuff on. Was just thinking that the ipad/ipad 2 might be good for taking some basic notes and then transferring them to pc?
