iPhone 2.0 firmware available now

MobileMe never really worked for me. Added a contact via me.com and it took about 3 hours to update on my iPhone. Strange but meh.

Battery life isn't that bad. It is probably about the same but I'm using it a lot more that usual now so that probably doesn't help.

Not many crashes, but some bits and bobs are very slow at times.

No. Img3 encryption was used on the ramdisk in 2.0 instead of 8900 (< 2.0 beta 7) so it took a while to work out where the key was stored for that. It should be released soon, testing phase now..

Would a kind person here write up a step by step guide on updating from 1.1.4 to 2.0 and Jailbreaking it so I can shove it in the new sticky please. Screen shots of the process would be ideal.

Don't do it guys, I'm running the legit 2.0 and it's been badly behaved ever since I installed it! I'd roll back, but really can't be bothered to restore again! Interested to hear from the brave if the jailbroken firmware has the same issues though.

I tried my 3G and it doesn't work, 3 times I tried.

I could do 2G possibly.
