iPhone 5 Tariffs

When do we think o2 will put up 12 month contracts. The o2 Guru I spoke to said "soon" but that's a bit vague!

Also do any networks include picture messages in their tariffs? My current 12 month iPhone 4S includes 20 MMS in the data bolt on but they aren't offering MMS bundles as part of the iPhone 5 tariffs, 35p each instead.

Before you ask this is for sending pictures of our baby to the inlaws who don't have smart phones but can get MMS's

Why would you not wait for EE to release their 4G tariffs?

To be honest, I can see them being eye wateringly bad.

£50+ for a decent cap is my bet. Plus, there is the fact that anyone not ordered by the time the other countries get the launch will be waiting for a good few weeks to even get a phone.

What's crap? That they won't let you use a service you haven't paid for? :rolleyes:

Data is data. If you have a limit you shouldn't be charged lest you go over it, no matter how you use it.

Phones other than the iPhone do not lock this.

was with Vodafone
got fed up looking for best deal... The 3: web page not accepting
landed up at Quidco and went for a new deal with 3: White iphone and a nice £96 cashback :)

I meant most people in this thread.

I dont think you really need 4G in the UK, 3G speeds are really good, I wouldnt personally look to pay that crazy amount I believe EE will be looking for.

Personally if I get the iPhone will be Sim free + Sim only from Three, offer nice deals, great quidco and should be getting 42mp HSPA+ soon, so close to LTE speeds :).

Just signed up for the 3 £12.90pm 200 ultimate internet 1 month rolling contract with nano sim. Got a pleasant surprise when I got an email from quidco saying I had £25 cashback! :D

Just got a 64Gb from 3 through quidco on the one plan, £96 cashback practically pays for the phone! Now to shift my 2 week old iPhone 4 replaced kindy out of warranty by apple!

Has anyone noticed its cheaper to pay more upfront on O2 and pay the £26/mnth

Also the Online handset prices are cheaper than in store, eg £26/mth only 32gb its £299 but instore its £359. whats that all about?

Gone for a black 16GB with Three on their One plan (£79 for the phone, £36pm for 2 years) - £96 quidco. 4S gets donated to the missus.

I noticed on the Three tarrifs that on the Ultimate internet plan you can add tethering but on the One plan you can't so i'm presuming it is included?

ive changed my mind again.

Im sticking to the original plan.

Going for sim free unlocked for £529 with £12.90x12(154.80) months sim only from three
total = £683.80

However there is another deal that is £97.20 dearer which is the vodafone 12 months contract

£51 month for 12months £612 and £169 for handset
total = £781

the Vodafone has 1200mins but disadvantage of only 1gb internet compared to three unlimited data.

so i think come Friday next week i am going to cancel my contract with three that i have already placed for £36 for 24m. just seems to long to be tied in.

any recommendations on the above would be great
