iPhone 5 Tariffs

Not always. It completely depends on how long you intend to keep the phone and what your tariff requirements are. However SIM only is always more convenient in that you can change your phone whenever you want.

Well I bought my phone in 1999 and I'm still using it, average bill is a couple of quid a year - what do you think, SIM free then? :D

just went for the 64gb deal with three through quidco on the One deal on Three after reading through here. Seems like a good deal. Phone is £700 from apple and the contract comes out at £1000 over the 2 years. Minus the money that I will get from selling my current 4 it works out at about an extra £150 with the contract, which isnt bad at all.

For a phone? geez-a-lou, phew! I could buy a new iMac for that. No wonder the mobile operators keep rubbing their hands.

I finish work at 5pm on Friday and could head to the trafford centre after getting there about 5.30... anyone think there's the slightest chance of any 32Gbs being left?

Been on holiday so didn't get that chance to pre-order in time and now everything's 2-3 weeks :(.... may take the morning off work on Friday and queue up with the noobs..

Yeah unfortunately I need the minutes and internet, which I somehow seem to use up every month on my current contact with Orange, which is £35pm. This gives me more of them for a little more. There doesn't seem to be many other options other than paying through the nose for it :s

Buying the phone outright and using Three's Essential Internet SIM 200 12 Months seems pretty good for my uses.

200 minutes
5000 texts
500MB data for £6.90 a month.

I bet there's many an American who'd sell their right arm for such a deal. :p

I did exactly the same! I cancelled my current three sim only deal and made my self a new customer. £50 quidco cashback too !

£6.90 is a cracking deal;

£529 (£6.90x12) = £611.80 - £50.00 CB TCO = £561.80
£529 (£6.90x24) = £694.60 - £50.00 CB TCO = £644.60

(As long as you don't go over the contact per month)

Not bad!

good but 500mb is not enough for smart phone. depends i guess what you do with your phone.

i went for the £15.90 deal 600mins and unlimited internet for 12months and got £75 cashback. so works out £9.65 month

Probably going to pre-order a black iP5 16gb from Tmobile online tomorrow. The full monty package looks good for £36pm and £109 for the phone. When would I likely to get the phone delivered to me?

How did you get the £75 cash back. Cant see that anywhere on Quidco? Unless I'm being stupid lol

No one knows a the moment, I ordered 2x on Friday and all they keep quoting me (twitter and phone) is within 30 days from release. I think will know more this week hopefully!

They are being quite shady with delivery times and no physical dates have been given, think this is the same for all carriers.

hmm wondering what to do....

i got the 4s a few weeks ago through my friends discount and got it for £21 a month for 24 months...

it worth selling the 4s and paying outright for the 5 and carrying on the contract?

or should i give my gf the contract, me start a new contract or buy phone and get a sim only deal?/

DECISIONS DECISIONS!

I have ordered the 5 on sim only and have contacted orange to send me a nano sim so i can keep the contract going as i have 12 months left still.

Went with o2, for 32gb black.

£49 upfront and £47pm, unlimited data bolt on offer, unlimited texts, unlimited calls.

Recycled my 4s with Voda a couple of weeks back for £309
